Message from Kevin DeWine:As was previously discussed at our September State Central and Executive Committee Meeting, in order to remain compliant with RNC Rules, we have officially modified the process by which Delegates and Alternate Delegates will be chosen for next year’s national convention. Recently, we were required to formally submit Ohio’s plan for delegate allocation to the RNC. Tonight, I will provide each Republican presidential campaign with a formal outline of these procedures.
I’ve taken the liberty of attaching two documents (links below) for you to review. The Delegate Memo provides an overview of the delegate selection process. The Ohio Delegate and Alternate Overview document addresses frequently asked questions with respect to the convention process.
