The Clermont County Republican Party met on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 to consider endorsements for the 2012 primaries. Candidates must have submitted letters requesting an endorsement 45 days prior to the filing deadline to the party chairman.
179 committee members out of a possible 197 were present, an historic 91% attendance. A 60% vote of the quorum present was necessary for a candidate to receive the party endorsement ensuring that an endorsed candidate is not one simply supported by a plurality or majority but overwhelmingly by the committee.
